1. Do not interrupt her when she is talking to someone else
It is a very wrong move to interrupt someone who is talking just have yourself into the conversation.
If she is alone...
Politely ask her why she is alone because psychologically when you ask or remind a woman at the bar that is all alone and/or has no one else to talk to, she will feel the need to talk to someone; that is you!
Allow the conversation to come in naturally. You can say something about a joke you once heard or talk about the bar or even make a comment on whatever game played on the TV.
2. Ask her what she is drinking
Here is the thing...
There is nothing as attractive to a woman at the bar as a man who knows a lot about his drinks and can also prove it. If you fall into this category of knowing your drinks/alcohol and can also prove it, you have to yourself a bonus step of starting a conversation with a woman.
Open up a conversation by asking what she is drinking, then inform her about what she should drink; remember, ensure she is super aware that you know more than she does about drinks.
3. Never start with anything that has to do with politics or the government
You must have heard this before, but if you haven’t, it is worth repeating - never start a conversation with a woman at a bar with politics. Even if you are only interested in a light chat, do not bring up politics.
4. Do not use pick-up lines
When I talk about pick-up lines, I’m referring to those lines you might have picked from your favorite movies or pop songs that sound just perfect for hearing. Yes, those are the lines. Do not use them to start a conversation with a woman at a bar. If you feel lines will work well for you, you can just speak from your heart because she will appreciate it than those you crammed from your songs and/or movies.
5. Comment on her look
Every woman appreciates comments on their look. Just if the woman at the bar is all by herself, you can start a smooth conversation by commenting on her look – be it her hair, outfit, or makeup.
6. Put your mobile phone away (or put it in a silent mode)
The truth is, many overlook this, but it has ruined lots of people from having a smooth conversation with a woman at the bar. This is because you will have no smooth conversation with a woman or anyone at a bar if you continue to respond to every alert or notification you get from your mobile phone. Just take a break from the social world.
7. Do not send a friend or someone to pimp her
It is normal to be fearful but do not send a friend or someone to speak to a woman at a bar on your behalf. That can be disrespectful because she believes as an adult, you must be confident to speak for yourself if you want to have a conversation with her.
