Understanding the difference between real and fake self confidence is something that isn’t discussed nearly enough. In today’s world of popular culture, it’s quite the norm for entertainers, and so many others, to promote ideas that go counter to core values that promote true confidence.
It’s so common to hear songs or viral memes go against important ingredients of self-confidence. For example, promoting values that counter things like being vulnerable, suggesting that it’s somehow okay to go into a headspace of not giving a f*#$. The list is too numerous to list here but I’m sure anyone reading this article knows exactly what I’m talking about.

Confidence is not limited to only a few, it’s a gift we all possess and can forever improve upon. No one is perfect and there are many things that we all can improve upon. False confidence, unfortunately, comes with the human condition, but this doesn't mean it's a permanent thing.
